Welcome to the official website of the Gambia Bureau of Statistics. The website is aimed at providing easy access to statistical data collected and analysed by the Bureau and its partners in the National Statistical System.

To lead in developing and producing statistical data and information of high quality, and to advance their effective use in both public and private policy decision-making.

Vision

To be premier among better national statistical systems, producing impartial, timely, and accurate data which will inform the country policy decisions at all levels thus advancing the quality of life and economic well being of all Gambians’.

• Timeliness: the timing of information releases.

• Cost-effectiveness: the cost-effectiveness of amount used to produce data products and services

• Dissemination: the availability, accessibility, and distribution of statistical products and services.
